Jason's background in distance running speaks for itself.  He holds the top time on the P-W Cross Country Record board, anchored the 4 x 800 Meter Relay school record team, holds the 3200 Meter Run school record and earned multiple All-State honors throughout his career.  He continued his running career at Northwood University, specializing in Cross Country and the 3000 meter Steeplechase.  His contributions to Northwood earned him the "Most Valuable Athlete" award his Senior year.  He began coaching at Pewamo-Westphalia in 2005 and has helped guide his distance runners to Track school records in the Girl's 4 x 800 Relay, Girl's 800 meter run, Boy's 800 meter run, Girl's 1600 meter run, and Boy's 1600 meter run.  When not coaching, you'll find Jason with his wife Corey and their future All-Stater – Whitney.
